Recurrence manifests as an innovative façade for The Black Shop in London, where Wedge explores the interplay between architectural memory and temporal dimensionality. By employing bespoke algorithms and responsive materials, the façade evolves visually and tactilely, capturing the history and energy of its urban context. This work embodies the studio’s co-authorship principle by allowing material processes to shape architectural expression dynamically, creating a living outer skin that navigates between permanence and flux.
